Director of various companies in MTN Group. He is currently the CEO and Chairman of Coriant International Group (“Coriant”), a global optical networking company. Shaygan joins Coriant after having worked closely with the senior management team since earlier this year in the role of Operating Executive to Marlin Equity Partners (“Marlin”). He is the former CEO of Juniper Networks. Prior to joining Juniper in 2014, Shaygan spent 3 years as the Group Chief Operating & Technology Officer at Barclays Bank PLC in the United Kingdom. Shaygan also spent in excess of 10 years at Verizon Communications until 2011 where he held the position of EVP & Chief Information & Technology Officer.
