The Senior Specialist: HCM Processes will be instrumental in delivery of process centric solutions utilising an MTN / HCM Oracle Cloud ERP solution. This role will be accountable for the implementation and support of Cloud and the associated process centric solutions and reports to the Senior Manager: HCM Processes.

In this capacity, this role delivers functional, technical knowledge and analytical support of Oracle modules and process centric solution across operational environments.

The incumbent will be responsible to provide high-level functional analysis, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex matters that require extensive knowledge of MTN’s processes subject matter and business operations to ensure effective implementation.

The position will interface with the MTN Group functions, MTN OpCo’s, Vendors (such as Oracle) and Service Delivery functions at the SSH (not limited to) in an effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities would include: –
Collaborate with stake holders to gain insight and understanding of the current end-to-end process (Global Template).
Correlate information and develop system solution recommendation to meet business requirements.
Provide operational support for Opcos who have gone live on HCM, including resolving incidents and requests logged by the Opco, driving HR data integrity, business benefits realisation, collating information in order to present at BOOST/HCM Operate Steercos
Provide support/input to business readiness, adoption plan and communication
Construct and implement actionable and targeted change management plans – including stakeholder analysis, communications planning, change impacts, change agent network, and training strategy and plans.
Support the specific process build and design working with other subject matter experts outside of HCM.
Plan, develop, and coordinate change strategies; identify integration points with other adoption efforts
Provide support/delivery of Operate BAU Projects working with other BOOST streams i.e. Oracle ACS, Service Now, Master Data, GRC
Assist with the analysis of HCM quarterly releases to determine the uptake of changes affecting work
Update HCM related training material, as a result of quarterly releases
Assessment & Analysis of what will be adopted
Comms/Videos/Training Material for Releases
Provide support on the communications for the quarterly releases and highlight the impact in the current ways of work.
Schedule and drive in monthly meetings with live Opcos to identify opportunities to improve on the GT and standardisation of org structures.
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes.
Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum of 3-year bachelor’s degree in Business/HR/technical qualification is required
  • Oracle Cloud certification would be an advantage


  • Strong background in Oracle HCM deploy Implementations, training and adoption / change management
  • Experience in Oracle Payroll, Oracle HCM core modules including Enterprise & Workforce Structures, Configure Goal and Performance Management, Career and Succession Planning and Talent Management, Configure Benefits, Compensation and benefits, Absence Management
