Our Story - One More Push

Our Story

At MTN, we always look on the bright side of life. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and despite its many challenges, we know that we’ll get through it. This optimism was the catalyst for the One More Push campaign.

We’re closer than ever to taking back control, to the things we miss and love. This is our rallying cry, to inspire everyone to do whatever it takes to get there. It means keeping our masks up, washing our hands and social distancing. As we look ahead to the rolling out of vaccines, it means taking time to learn more about the vaccination, and inspiring others to do the same.

So come on, let’s give it one more push. Whatever it takes, for as long as it takes. For all of us; because we’re all worth pushing for.

Keep it up, Africa

The campaign marks a new chapter in our Y’ello Hope journey – our unwavering commitment to Africa, to save lives and livelihoods by stepping up in times of great humanitarian need.

Last year, as we were all still coming to terms with the magnitude of the pandemic, we set out to encourage mask-wearing through the MTN Wear It For Me campaign.
We inspired young Africans to put others first and wear a mask, by focussing on their innate desire to love, care for, and protect their elders.

We recently entrenched our commitment to the continent further, by donating US$25 million to support the African Union’s COVID-19 vaccination programme. It will help secure up to seven million doses for health workers across the continent and contribute greatly to the vaccination initiative of the Africa CDC.
